JOB DESCRIPTION Dev OPS Engineer 3 month contract ( Heavy hitter in the DevOPs space that can do some heavy lifting for projects that we are working on with AWS Cloud Formation, SSL encryption, Deployment pipeline updates and Git repo updates Again not a Junior role) People that can back up there resume with actual coding skills. As a DevOps Engineer with Oath, you will be responsible for working with our development and operations teams to enhance our companies progress towards One DSP. Youll be heavily involved with all our technical infrastructure, from designing, maintaining and implementing infrastructure and CI/CD tools. Youre core focus will be on helping our development teams consolidate and move our current technical infrastructure to a more secure and consolidated state such that the teams focus can be on the development details for future consolidation efforts. SKILLS AND EDUCATION Bachelors degree Proven experience of building and managing continual automation / deployment / delivery environments. Experience running infrastructures on cloud platforms, appreciation for their failure modes, and a good understanding of network concepts and fundamentals. Excellent systems and database experience, with an understanding of the challenges involved in designing and building distributed/microservice environments. Strong AWS integration experience using cloudformation and terraform. Strong coding skills Python, Java, C, C++, Perl. Security focused, best practices, implementation. Virtualization and cloud technologies such as Docker, Vagrant, OpenStack, Kubernetes and Terraform. Experience with CICD tools like Chef and Jenkins. 5 + years of industry experience. Version control and code review systems such as Git and Stash. A willingness to learn new things and experiment with new technologies. A passion for metrics and datadriven decision making.
