ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Serve as the BI Tool expertManage and interrogate data stored in SQL databases including the data warehouse and operational data storesUtilize ETL tools (SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)) to import/export, clean, and transform data from various and disparate data sources, including third party subscription informationDesign, develop, and maintain SQL Server Analysis (SSAS) and data structure in tabular and multidimensional instancesLead business requirement gathering and design activities with internal stakeholdersLead delivery of data through Design / Build / Test / Deploy phases using SQL reportingDevelop reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and analytic data visualizations in the BI tool; manage report subscriptions and data dissemination to internal customersGenerate and implement ideas to simplify / streamline our integration landscapeProvide technical oversight for all new releases; actively promote new platform features and drive adoptionIntegrate bestinclass analytical & statistical and datamining techniques to provide meaningful insightsPerform marketing campaign analysis to understand the sales lift & ROI associated across several key marketing and business programs to aid in the development of future strategiesPerform ad hoc data analyses for sales and financeSupport the building of analytical capabilities and solutions that further the strategic goals of the companyTrain users on use of the toolCollaborate cross functionally with marketing, finance, sales, and external partnersRequirements DATA ARCHITECT & ANALYSTBachelors degree required5+ years IT experience required, pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience a plusProven ability to independently lead data managementSQL Database Management and Query ExpertiseRelational and Dimensional Data ModelingETL Data ProcessingOLAP Data Design and ImplementationOutstanding Analytical and data extraction skillsExperience with Business Intelligence Software ToolsDemonstrated knowledge of secondary data sources (IMS, Symphony, WK, Nielsen, IntegriChain, etc.)Proficiency in Report Design and Presentation from BI ToolsInterpersonal skills in dealing with stakeholder interactionsExcellent time management, organizational & communication skillsAbility to learn new technology rapidlyDemonstrated ability to collaborate across groups of diverse backgrounds and skillsFlawless project management skills ability to manage, prioritize and lead numerous projects simultaneouslyStrong Microsoft Office skills Excel, PowerPoint, AccessAbility to travel within the USA 25% of time
