Description
Overview The Integration/Interface Technical Lead/Developer is responsible for supporting the Integration/Interfaces Lead and their team. They will assist in the coordination, scheduling and delivery of a subset of interfaces between Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCB) and KCP&L legacy applications and/or external vendors. The resource will assist and support the Integration/Interface Lead with the technical design and development, implementation, testing and delivery of assigned interfaces.Specific Tasks Participate in activities related to the technical design, development and implementation of assigned interfaces. Support the creation interface technical and integration design documentation, as assigned by Integration/Interface Lead. Collaborate with application and integration developers/programmers to ensure technical and integration designs are completed for assigned interfaces. Manage and facilitate the completion of interface development, as assigned. Collaborate with Integration/Interface Lead to provide status on assigned interfaces to include any risks and issues. Collaborate with Enterprise Integration Team to design and implement the integration layer (Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Data Integrator) for assigned interfaces. Collaborate with Integration/Interfaces Lead to provide guidance and governance to ensure interfaces adheres to KCP&Ls established integration architecture and standards. Participate in and support project testing activities including defect resolution and performance tuning Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience with designing, developing, architecting and delivering integration/interfaces for large system implementation efforts; Oracle CCB implementation and integration experience desired, but not required Demonstrate functional knowledge of the Oracle CC&B platform in one or more of the following functional areas desired, but not required Credit & Collections, Payments, Billing, Customer Management and/or Financial Management General understanding of integration patterns, best practices and technologies; Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Data Integrator experience desired, but not required Prior roles in leading and managing design and development and/or integration teams Must possess excellent communication skills and excel at building relationships with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Attention to detail, multitasking skills, and timely followthrough in executing responsibilities Experience within electric utility industry is preferred Ability to meet travel requirements
