Workflow Business Analyst

Description

Duties Work with business SME's, process improvement specialists, project work streams (system enhancement, document management, global reporting), and other business and process analysts to help define business needs, facilitate business requirements, and create design specifications Develop process maps and provide analysis at detailed levels between business activities and IT systems Develop Use Cases for use of workflow tools and integration with other corporate systems Conduct integration testing and system testing Analyze system defects and develop resolution strategies Assist in development of documentation, including user guides, SOP's, and demonstrations Interact with business users and provide point of contact, training, coaching and support through golive Perform other duties as needed Skills Exceptional communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport and influence stakeholders. Ability to work with senior level stakeholders and be comfortable making healthy challenges on requests. High energy and desire to take on a high workload over an extended period of time. Quick learner Desire to become a functional expert on internal systems including intimately understanding the functionality in the system, how to translate business requirements into system changes, and the impact of changes to previously implemented releases. Ability to create clear, effective Business Specifications Selfdirected requiring minimal oversight Knowledge of the Insurance underwriting process Strong communicator, able to speak with the business experts and understand the commercial insurance domain Experience performing migrations Detail oriented Well organized and consistently delivers on commitments.
