Windows/VMWare System Administrator

Description

REQUIREMENT Responsibilities Build out of production systems in a Windows/Intel environment, including the following Windows Server 2018/2012 (Active Directory, IIS) and VMware Provide the required daily support, maintenance, light rack and stack of equipment in data centers, asset management equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve server hardware and server OS and application issues. Provide Level III support and repair Provide 24x7 Oncall Escalation Support (rotationbased / full week support) Author internal documentation, such as environment diagrams, installation/configuration documents. Data backup management, scheduling and reporting for both internal corporate systems and data center (NOC) systems. Requirements 2+ years of relevant experience Working knowledge to the following o Microsoft suite of applications, Active Directory, MS Terminal Services, VMware, o Server Hardware, both stand alone and blade systemso Virtualization technologies with VMware vSphere Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment Must understand and champion the necessity of following established processes and procedures Must understand and champion the criticality of change control procedures Ability to work and communicate effectively to customers via a ticketing system, email and inperson communications Additional Desired Requirements Scripting knowledge (Powershell, batch etc.) Clustering MS SQL WSUS Linux SCOM, SCCM Splunk Maintaining system and security patch levels
