What Youll Do Lead the strategic design/roadmap, acquisition, management, and implementation of applications/systems and infrastructureResponsible for longterm strategic planning, documentation, and creation of policies, standards, and guidelines regarding the selection, development, implementation, and use of information technology platformDevelop, articulate and evolve the company strategic information technology direction through an evolving architecture roadmapDevelops technology roadmaps, capability reference architecture and/or enterprise blueprint for one or more domains, which describes the point of arrival across the enterprise and the critical strategic objectives necessary to arrive at that future state.Build an architecture group across partnerships to create and maintain architectural principles, standards, patterns, best practices, reference models and disseminate them within the wider IT organizationEstablish an architecture community of practice through influencing and pull modelProvide technical and architectural roadmap around emerging ERP systems such as AX, Sales Force Commerce Cloud, NCR, etc.Provide recommendations impacting the selection and use of information technology (e.g. platform, build/buy, integration, architecture specification)Evaluate and analyze solutions from such perspectives as architecture, feasibility, and costDive deep (as needed) and drive continuous improvement to deliver highly reusable and innovative architectural design patterns and practicesDevelop and grow the solution architect and domain architects into a matrixed orgDevelop an integrated technology roadmap aligned with business capabilitiesContinuously evaluate and harness forwardlooking architect, technology, and tools to position technology as a strategic asset and a key enabler for Duluth Trading CompanyWhat Were Looking for Computer Science or Engineering degree from a recognized universityMinimum of 810 years of progressive IT and architecture experience, in a similar roleExperience in a retail environment fueled by several ERP systems and serviceSoftware application development experience with ability to provide mobile app development inputExperience implementing governance, SLAs and best practices in an enterprise systems environmentStrong leadership and enterprise architecture skillsAnalytical, logical, and innovativeUnderstanding of existing enterprise and emerging systemsStrong business acumen to provide knowledge and counsel to internal IT and potential external collaboration partnersIndepth knowledge of specialized architecture in areas such as cloud computing, networks, cybersecurity and positioning of emerging technologies (e.g. SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)Extensive experience in delivering a services/API first strategy and implementing unified services/API platforms in the cloudExcellent communication, presentation, influencing and reasoning skills
