Director, Network Security Service Delivery

RESPONSIBILITIES Partners with other engineering teams and executives to develop short and longterm security, product and service strategies.Drive delivery of innovative distributed software services to improve our cloud service backend security infrastructure.Manage DevOps activities to support large scale cloud services.Collaborate with other teams to solve security problems with minimal disruption to other business functions.Manage the business value creation of security services to determine strategy and drive solutions.Continuous improvement of policies, procedures and technology.Hire, train and assess performance of direct reports according to corporate policies and procedures.Assist in the growth of employees through coaching, training and career development activities.Interact with industry experts, partners, internal staff and auditors.Work effectively as part of a geographically distributed team.Occasional travel is required (domestic and international). REQUIRED SKILLS 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure or Security Engineering/Operations5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in large scale cloud and distributed services4+ years of experience with with applied cryptography in an enterpriseCapable of leading and motivating a team of engineers in a challenging, dynamic and global environment.Strong distributed systems and architecture knowledge.Experience in a fastpaced, 24/7 environmentPreviously managed a minimum of 8 direct reports.Minimum 35 years related people management experience.Hands on coding experience, in Python, Go, Ruby, C/C++, or JavaBachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science or related industry (or equivalent experience)Unix/Linux internal, deployment and maintenance experienceInfrastructure Security knowledge and experienceSecurity certifications and/or equivalent work experience.
