Identity and Access Management Engineer

Description You are a seasoned, experienced, fully functioning member of the security operations team. You have knowledge of a wide variety of security concepts, practices, and procedures, and can resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. You may mentor others on the security or technology team. You fully own security patching identity and access system operations, security operations projects or teams. As part of owning identity and access management (IAM) security operations or projects, you are starting to, with guidance from your manager, learn how to successfully delegate parts of a project or task and collate results. In this role, you are part engineer, analyst, and advisor. Expect around 10% travel. Decision Making / Discretion You are able to work collaboratively and independently but ask for general guidance on new projects or unfamiliar areas.You contribute heavily to authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services, identity system security and engineering, implementing security strategy, multifactor authentication (MFA), maturity model implementation and process improvements.You are the driver and subject matter expert for at least one IAM security/product area, tool, or project.You demonstrate good judgment and use your expertise in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.You contribute to defining procedures and practices used by the team.
