Description

The Service Engineer Technician position within the TechnologyOrganization manages a highly complex infrastructure through analyzingrequirements and systems architecture, consulting with technologypartners and validating tool standards. The Service Engineer reviews andevaluates mitigation efforts for design constraints and/or risks andleads design reviews to develop and support optimal IT solutions. Thisposition will be responsible for designing, implementing and managingkey integration components interacting with platforms such as TIBCO,.net and Java. Primary responsibilities include Analyzing and reviewing business, functional and highlevel technicalrequirements. Designing detailed technical components for complex applicationsutilizing highlevel architecture, design patterns and reusable code. Supporting detailed project estimates and project work plans. Planning and conducting ITIL processes for changes and enhancements Creating test plans for modulelevel integration and tracking/resolvingdefects. Identifying support issues, action resolutions, and providing technicalassistance for complex problems. Ability to problem solve and reach resolution with a broader perspectivein mind. Able to effectively communicate with peers, business analysts, projectmanagers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries Strong focus on documentation and development standards. TIBCO Development and Design experience using the TIBCO suite ofproducts Experience managing a fully integrated highly available applicationenvironment Experience with working with extensive application frameworks Moderate knowledge of Solaris with emphasis on zones/containers, ZFS,and server build. Understanding of other infrastructure domains such as storage (SAN/NAS),networking and security is expected.
