Performance Tester

Description

The role of performance tester is becoming more and more important as we gain customers and larger contracts. Our system must be proven to work with a finite set of endpoints and must also be proven to be scalable. This is a very specific role with the QA group with a very unique set of skills. This role is needed to perform performance and load testing on our system on a regular cycle to ensure our system can perform optimally.The position requires testing in a fastpaced, time sensitive project and the applicant must have the ability to quickly switch from one task to another and follow the work plan to meet project milestones. The job requires good working knowledge of the testing methodologies in regards to performance and load testing. The applicant will be responsible for developing and executing performance/load tests using technical requirements and design specifications as input, analyzing test results, performing data validation and comparing results, tracking defects and providing regular status. The applicant must also possess the ability to create and execute scripting. The job requires someone who is highly skilled in using different techniques while performing testing tasks related to database, backend processes and frontend applications. Documentation of environments and tools/scripts used are also required. Experience Requirements Must have a minimum of 7 years experience with Software Testing web, GUI, database and Client/Server applications on multiple platforms.Must possess a minimum of 7 years experience with Oracle (SQL/PLSQL)Must possess a minimum of 7 years experience with testing UI/Web Applications.Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience of working with Windows Server and troubleshooting.Must possess 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following performance diagnostics, performance testing, capacity planning, performance architecture design, or performance monitoring
