Requirements5 to 7 years work experienceIndepth knowledge of MSI technology using AdminStudio, InstallShield or Wise Package Studio. Understanding of best practices and standards for application packaging procedures Good knowledge of application lifecycle management Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts to any audience, gather requirements, report updates to management, resolve issues with customers and correspond with vendors Expert knowledge of application installation procedures on all platforms of Windows Workstation/Servers, both 32 and 64 bit operating systems; how application communicates with underlying toolsets Ability to independently troubleshoot applications and come up with innovative ways to resolve packaging issues and articulate with coworkers for further assistance or knowledge share Ability to adapt to the company's customizations and process driven standards, inhouse tools, custom templates, utilities, and heavy documentation requirements in place for the packaging team Ability to multitask and prioritize work queue assignments as workload and projects changes Prefer programming experience or the ability to write scripts using VBScript, PowerShell, Jscript or other scripting languages and understanding of basic programming concepts
