Key Search Biztalk, HL7, Visual StudioPurpose and Scope of Job Serve as the primary Information Technology Analyst independently performing work in the analysis, development, implementation and support of the electronic exchange of medical information. Specifically, facilitate the effective import of data from independent, thirdparty systems to a common, existing database structure. Job is comprised of approximately 50% analysis, 30% programming and 20% testing and data verification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may also be assigned. Analyze and independently identify complex technical problems Serve as a technical contact for HL7 interfaces during implementation process Exercise independent judgment to determine the appropriate course of action to be taken during an interface implementation based on the analysis performed and all effective evaluation of possible solutions. Research HL7 ADT/SCH/R01/O01 transactions to determine level of compliance with the standard Develop programs and processes to translate data from various thirdparty medical data system systems into a standard format that feed a common, existing database. Translate requirements into design solutions Prepare detailed high/low level design documentation Walkthrough the design with business partners Prepare Test Plans Create repeatable processes for the various products Understand BizTalk hl7 orchestrations Support after hours and weekend message monitoring on a rotating basis within IT Support business teams through implementation and acceptance testing Apply technology concepts to business needs Develop and manage requirements and process flows Demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, and presentation toolsEducation and/or Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of medical and healthrelated data. 2+ years of with Biztalk, HL7, Visual Studio Knowledge of Mantis and Test Director Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports, .NET and at least one highlevel programming language. Significant experience troubleshooting proprietary software. Strong technical aptitude and data analysis skills Demonstrated expert proficiency with data manipulation, translations, and conversions. Knowledge of healthcare industry as it relates to electronic medical records, continuity of care documents, hospital based systems Ability to balance multiple priorities Detail oriented Excellent organizational skills Excellent Multitasking skills Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and strong customer service skills Display dependable, punctual and professional demeanor Possess strong problem solving skills Ability to be selfsufficient and work independently as well as in a team environment
