Job Description Senior Business AnalystThe primary responsibilities of the position include consulting with and advising the staff, state affiliates and associated organizations in matters relating to membership processes, policy, and systems. This person is responsible for defining complex business requirements; identifying and implementing efficient procedures for the processing, storage, and retrieval of data regarding the members, affiliates, and financial obligation with particular emphasis on web application ecommerce financial transactions. This person is responsible for defining new web based methods and supporting existing systems for collecting member information and financial obligation. This person ensures the integrity and confidentiality of member data and provides technical expertise in webbased membership system design, web based dues collection application interactions and business practices. This person develops and provides training in the membership systems, creates and delivers presentations to system users and association leaders. This person works collaboratively with the IT department by delineating system requirements to conform to state affiliate bylaws and policy and federal and state law. This person consults with staff members to develop creative ecommerce solutions that collect membership dues obligation from Electronic Funds Transfer, credit card and other methods. This person utilizes subject matter expertise and expertlevel knowledge of transactional and analytical data processing to determine data capture and reporting solutions to implement the requirements and objectives. Minimum Qualifications5 years progressively responsible professional business systems analysis experience.Experience must include defining ecommerce process solutions, development, implementation and supporting ecommerce applications.Experience defining complex logic, testing and verifying the validity of the information.Experience interviewing users and interpreting primary documents to determine business requirements.Defining and writing specifications, interfacing with technical staff in the design, development, testing and implementation of computer systems.Experience writing user and technical documentation.Experience developing and conducting training and presentationsSamples of work product will be required at time of interview.
