Logistics Tester Position Description The focus of this position is to perform the role of a tester for the Implement FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) for Express project that will the Express business. This role will involve working with a test lead, other testers, technical resources, and subject matter experts to identify and develop test scenarios and test cases in HP ALM, perform test execution of the test cases, and identify defects. This role will report status to the project test lead daily. The project will use a traditional / Waterfall SDLC methodology. This role needs to be a focused personality that can quickly step in and learn the functionality. Client has an established process for how test cases are documented and how test execution is organized and reported out, and adherence to this process is required. Requirements Functional Tester Position 1) At least 2 years of experience in Manual software quality planning and execution of applications. Defining test plans, strategies, test scenarios, test cases and scripts, and defect reporting. 2) At least 2 years of experience in Retail Warehouse Management System (WMS) Test Planning and Execution. May include hands on WMS/PkMS application development or Testing. 3) At least 2 years of experience in Manhattan Logistics and Transportation systems, Retails Customs Processes and/or Retail Landscape. 4) Knowledge or handson testing experience with SAP Systems, or Retail Merchandizing Systems (RMS). 5) Knowledge or handson testing experience with Databases and execute SQL Queries or stored procedures (SQL, ORACLE etc.) 6) Experience in test management and defect reporting tools HP ALM/Quality Center (QC) or Jira. 7) Experience in various types of testing such as Functional, Interface, System Integration, Smoke/Sanity, EndtoEnd testing etc. 8) Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, good communication skills, and interteam coordination. 9) Automation Testing using Ruby/Java, Selenium etc., a plus.
