Description
Release DBA service catalog will encompass the following Join with the Release Management and Application Development teams in planning and scheduling release activities Handle releases from all organizations supported by the Release Management team Perform release related backups, refreshes and other database support tasks Deploy schema (DDL) changes, packages, stored procedures, functions and other DML changes to QA, UAT and production environments Perform postrelease verification and validation Participate in postrelease issue identification, resolution/rollback and root cause analysis Backup and refresh development as well as controlled database environments Manage passwords for multiple application service accounts Maintain knowledgebase Maintain Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase database knowledge to cover the spread of application technologiesThe Release DBA service catalog will not include access management and provisioning
