Experience with popular API and Proxy tools Charles Proxy, Postman, SoapUI, etc.Job Description Universal Quality Engineering and continuous deployment team is currently going through a transformation. The organization is going through an Agile transformation following SAFe (individual feature/delivery teams) and moving to an automated, continuous deployment model. Also, they want to establish a QA Center of Excellence. These testers will be embedded in various Feature teams. The feature teams are mini SCRUM teams that focus on a product/feature for Universal. Examples of feature teams Sales Application, Mobile App, Team Member Tools, ACP (TapuTapu Bands), Gamification. Each team has a SCRUM master, BA, Angular Developers, Microservices Developers, Mobile Developers, Product Owner and QA's. There are 15 current openings with the following titles API Testers (4)Manual UI (Web Browsers) (4)Data Testers (Separate Req) (3)UI SDET (4)Some of the technical environment is Selenium, Mobile(perfecto), Web, Api (soapUI/Postman/ReadyApi), Performance (Jmeter).Details on API TESTERSThe team is open to one or two junior/mid developer (java/javascript/node) that have built services and have done some QA. They should want to move their career into the QA field. The dev environment is mainly Javascript and Java. If someone has done performance testing with services, they could probably test an API (tools jmeter, loadUI). The goal is to become fully automated, however these testers don't have to automate API's as long as they have solid understanding of how they work and scripting by using Ready API or Postman. Red flags Experience with API testing and don't have tools API testing for 4 years and don't know scripting Senior in Java but can't do a full loop
