Required Skills MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL Angular Python Django Agile development methodology and frameworks DevOps understanding with cloud execution Continuous integration and development (Atlassian stack) Job Description Contingent Sr. Python Application Software Engineer (Broker Commission Systems) Centene is buying sw called Ensure Monkey (web app w/ integrated security) from a vendor going out of business at EOY Requesting two developers to look at the code and make recommendations on compatibility to Centenes platform/env. Devs will look at python code and evaluate whats needed from a security, infra and app perspective and make recommendations on fixing the python code vs. moving it to a node (or other recommended) platform. IF they have to replatform the sw all together, which is very possible, this could be a very long engagement OOP experience is a must Qualifications Top Skill Sets Experience in one of the following languages (Python, JavaScript/Nodejs, Java and Agile) Experience in a service oriented or microservices architecture environment. Development experience with REST API's, Experience with database design and querying against NoSQL and relational data bases, MongoDB. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience. Healthcare experience a plus. (a) Experience working with Python, JAVA, JSP, Supertool, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, and Agile. (b) Experience working with Java Script, OOP/OOAD, XML, HTML. Experience with Oracle or SQL Server. Experience with web services, messaging, and stored procedures preferred. Required MySQL, Python, Django, and some MongoDB. The other platform that may interface/work with is PostgresSQL, Python, and Django. Web applications, some APIs (restful we think), and ETL processes mainly.
