Description
Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus a minimum five (5) years of related work experience with project management or system support; OR a Masters Degree, plus four (4) years of related experience.Minimum five (5) years of combined work experience with management responsibility including managing multiple teams in SAP environments.HANA Certification and ABAP development and debugging skills a plus.Possess strong management and leadership skills; ability to build collaborative and effective business relationships to meet organizational objectives and goals.Advanced knowledge of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA and HANA database to include the usages/implementation of Fiori Apps and HANA Live.Possess specific HANA knowledge to include high availability, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, and security related to the HANA platform.Knowledge of the S/4HANA roadmap, differences between releases, and new innovations associated with each release.Experience with Enterprise Architecture with SAP solutions prior to S/4HANA with focus on Business Suite Products (ECC and CRM) and SAP NetWeaver Products (BW, Enterprise Portal, PI/PO and Solution Manager) and be familiar with upgrade and migration projects to include, but not limited to, migration to S/4HANA and Suite on HANA.Proven ability to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.Experience working within an ever changing fast paced environment, while managing competing priorities. Ability to focus on business solutions and results first before technology.Ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse technical staff and project teams comprised of technical and client department members.Extensive experience with supporting systems and organizational compliance requirements across multiple geographies.Have and maintain a valid Driver's License.Possess professional communication skills while maintaining a friendly, courteous and helpful disposition with coworkers, management and customers regardless of provocation.Work is performed in all District locations and/or facilities including motor vehicles, amid conditions of dust, odors, fumes, varying types of lighting and noises. Specific Responsibilities In order to effectively contribute to the management of Systems Architecture HANA, the Manager, Systems Architecture HANA is accountable and responsible to Serve as the subject matter expert for District wide enterprise wide system architecture to include, but not limited to, S/4HANA; facilitate discussions with endusers to define and clearly demonstrate the business benefits of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA and HANA database and the overall process of implementation, migration, Near Zero Downtime (NzDT) method, and upgrade including sizing, architecture, configuration, management, and daytoday operation of the S/4HANA environment.Define systems strategy, develop systems requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures and implement practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.Direct continuing review of present systems and methods and formulation of new and revised systems, examine techniques in use, and determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.Operational execution; set priorities, initiate new projects and issue directives regarding responsible applications and Information Technology services.Develop, present, and revise assigned projects as required to meet established goals.Participate and assist in the administration of Information Technology policies, procedures and technology as requested.Provide change leadership ensuring the success of the Information Technology Department and business initiatives via effective communications and change management programs and techniques.Process and technology management through the effective and efficient use of process and information technology to meet business needs.Supervise to include, but not limited to, staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.Human capital development/management by leading and integrating strategic partners into a fully functional Information Technology team.Communicate with and assist customers, coworkers and management professionally, regardless of provocation.Understand and comply with all pertinent District policies and procedures.Fulfill responsibilities common to all Supervisory, Professional, and Administrative positions.Handle stresses related to effectively completing the above referenced requirements.
