Description

Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus a minimum five (5) years of related work experience with project management, software development or system support, OR a Masters Degree, plus two (2) years of related experience.Knowledge of several functional areas including finance, purchasing, materials management, customer relationship management, accounting, billing/invoicing, payroll, human resources management, Plant Maintenance, relational database systems, data reporting, data warehousing, and business intelligence.Technical proficiency as an SAP Technical/Functional Expert in one or more areas of SAP including, but not limited to, FI/CO, FI/CA, Purchasing, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Customer Relationship Management/Customer Care and Service, HCM, EAM, QM, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, Fleet Management, Billing/Invoicing, Print Workbench, SuccessFactors Talent Management Suite, NetWeaver PI, Portals, ABAP Programming, SAP Forms, Sales and Distribution, Work Management, BI/BOBJ and Device Management. Minimum 2 to 4 years of SAP experience required.Previous experience with data extraction in multiple functional areas from SAP source systems such as ECC, CRM and from nonSAP systems.Desired proficiency in all phases of the Data Warehouse work including the initial requirements of gathering, design and implementation, data conversions and ongoing enhancements and support.Desired proficiency with technologies underlying the SAP components such as, but not limited to, relational databases and database tools, web technology, or Linux.Ability to be available to support critical systems 24x7x365 in order to provide continuous and effective service to customers.Effective timemanagement skills and ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment with competing priorities, while meeting or exceeding deadlines.Possess strong customer service and leadership skills; ability to build collaborative and effective business relationships to meet organizational objectives and goals within an environment of change.Ability to focus on business solutions and results first before technology.Must be able to communicate with internal and external team members effectively, verbally and in writing; accurately document customer needs; and tailor communication to a diverse clientele which will include both technical and administrative personnel.Work may take place in all District locations and/or facilities including motor vehicles with varying conditions to include, but not limited to, dust, odors, fumes, and noises.Possess professional communication skills while maintaining a friendly, courteous and helpful disposition with coworkers, management and customers regardless of provocation Specific Responsibilities In order to effectively contribute to the objectives of the District, the ERP Technical/Functional Analyst II BOBJ is accountable and responsible to Interface with one or more functional areas of the District currently utilizing, or slated to be utilizing, SAP systems.Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support SAP Business Warehouse/Intelligence Reporting solutions for multiple business units.Build generic extractors to load from Flat files and relational databases.Recommend revision to SAP related business processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.Function as a technical expert and provide support on one or more SAP modules.Gather, define and document business requirements on behalf of the business process owners, business system owners, subject matter experts, users, and other stakeholders; then develop detailed functional and design specifications suitable for implementation.Participate in all phases of the system development lifecycle including testing.Work with quality assurance in the design and performance of acceptance tests, change control, and release management processes.Model and handle various types of SAP extractors to include FI, Controlling, CRM, GIS and BCM.Work on HANA Studio Schemas and tables on HANA, attribute view, analytical view and calculation view.Develop and handle hybrid scenarios BW data models and HANA views to meet established requirement.Perform migration of BW on legacy RDBMS to BW on HANA or BW/4HANA, write SQL Script views and stored procedures.Produce BEX query development using BOBJ tools such as Universes/Webi and office for analysis.Build, maintain and improve scheduled reports utilizing SAP BI 4x product suite (BI Launch Pad, Information Design Tool, BICS connection, Multi source connection, SBO Analysis, Dashboards, Design Studio, etc.).Understand and comply with all pertinent District policies and procedures.Fulfill responsibilities common to all Supervisory, Professional, and Administrative positions.
