Program Test Manager

Job Description Partner with the Business Sponsor, Business Program Manager and IT Director to lead the program, assuring that business objectives are met. This includes translating program OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and EPICs to business terms for SAFe Program Increment planning sessions (Release Train workshops held every 12 weeks) Responsible for all program testing, across all application teams, including unit, integration, SIT, UAT, Infrastructure, NFT, and automation for each of those testing types. This includes strategy development, process definition and continuous improvement, Sprint Planning and Program Increment planning for testing, overall test management, resource identification, onboarding, and management (multivendor and FTE team), budget forecasts, issue resolution, coaching/mentoring for new teams, status reporting, test data creation for all levels of testing, etc. Responsible for the CICD /TDD automation framework including o Creating the backlog of automation tasks and assigning those to sprintso Managing the implementation of the automation framework across application teams, and tracking automation progresso Working with the architect and development leads to make sure the automation is integrated with the CICD pipelines for each application through all environments Create Release Plans/Release Notes for biweekly production releases from Pivotal Tracker Partner with Product Owners for Iteration and Release planning Represent the program in other intersecting programs Scrum of Scrums Provide consulting and mentoring for other IT teams that implementing TDD and adopting the automation framework Create Visio diagrams for each program OKR , and overall THB and BAU transaction flow diagrams . These are used for test planning, business communication, etc. Support the Client Migration team with client and data validation, applying automation where possible. Partner with the Architect and IT Leads for risk identification, documentation, and mitigation strategy development. Coordinate infrastructure and NFT testing with the IT and infrastructure teams. Coordinate test environment setup and smoke testing , adding new applications to all environments as the program grows. Coordinate Business Assurance test planning and execution to support new operating models. Identify and partner with business representatives from each impacted business unit for UAT and Business Assurance testing, and the related automation. Organizational Change Management related to the move to TDD and automated testing. This includes working with the business to improve automation reporting to provide assurance that they can trust automation Other responsibilities as assigned to support the implementation of TDD, Lean/XP, SAFe, CICD, Automation, etc.Program Management experience, and Safe experience a plus Experience managing testing for a large Agile or hybrid program, including knowledge of how to embed agile testers and automation developers successfully into agile teams, and what their roles and responsibilities should be. The PTM will need to coach/mentor these individual teams and work with Product Owners to help make the teams successful. Agile experience (THB teams are using Lean/XP TDD, but a few other teams doing work for the program are using Scrum)
