Key Accountabilities Functional/technical leader of large, complex global projects. Manages scope & deliverables of strategic projects to ensure a successful outcome that is aligned to business, IT, and domain priorities. Accountable for delivery across multiple functional and technical areas with a wide range of complexity.Works directly with business, ITS, and GBS resources to align on requirements and solutions. Actively guides and inspires project teams (Business, IT Services, and Delivery Partner) so that they understand the vision and deliverables for the project. Builds relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure effective project delivery.Contributes to the formulation and implementation of IT master data strategy. Creatively applies a wide range of technical and/or project management principles (both traditional and agile).Prepares business cases which define potential benefits for master data solutions, options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes, and associated business risks. Identifies stakeholders and their business needs.Facilitates scoping and business priority setting for large or complex projects, engaging senior stakeholders as required. Selects the most appropriate means of representing business requirements in the context of a specific change initiative. Drives the requirements elicitation process where necessary, identifying what stakeholder input is required. Obtains formal agreement from a large and diverse range of potentially senior stakeholders and recipients to the scope and requirements. Establishes a baseline on which delivery of a solution can commence.Manages provision of specialist knowledge over a range of topics including the role of IT in the business; in own areas of expertise provides advice and guidance influencing the effectiveness of the organizations business processes. Will be expected to consult on Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management and related solutions.Responsible for the investigation and application of changes to program scope. Identifies the impact on business requirements of external impacts affecting a program or project.Controls data and information design best practice within an enterprise or industry architecture. Influences industrybased models for the development of new technology applications. Develops effective implementation and procurement strategies, consistent with business needs.Influences strategy formation to achieve business objectives. Influences a significant part of own organization. Makes decisions which impact the work of employing organizations, achievement of organizational objectives and financial performance.Develops influential relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers/partners at senior management level, including industry leaders. Key Qualifications and Experiences Bachelor's degree with 710+ years of Professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients.Strong technical leadership of Application Development teams and delivery partners.Direct experience delivering Data Governance / Data Management / Data Quality solutions.Handson knowledge of key SAP technologies including MDG, MDM, IS, ECC, S/4, HANA, Fiori, and NWBC.Experience with SAP ERP Product, Material, Customer, or Vendor master data.Familiarity with current digital technology trends and applicability to master data including AI / ML, RPA, API, Microservice, Data Catalog, and Data as a Service.Experience with Data Dictionaries and Metadata management.Held prior accountabilities that required influencing business leaders and stakeholders outside of administrative authority.Demonstrates clear leadership and the ability to influence and persuade. Absorbs complex technical information and communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and nontechnical audiences. Assesses and evaluates risk. Understands the implications of latest technologies.Can supervise specialist technical consultancy.Has a broad understanding of all aspects of IT and deep understanding of own specialism(s). Understands and communicates the role and impact of IT in the employing organization and promotes compliance with relevant legislation.Able to lead a global project team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the KC organization including suppliers, partners, customers, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.Experience managing global ITS Projects and/or Programs. Experience with deploying and driving execution via performance measurement, benchmarking, and related visual management.Takes the initiative to keep skills up to date and to maintain an awareness of developments in the IT industry.Broad range of business and IT experiences; has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
