DescriptionJOB DUTIES Working in developing logging solutions for various systems using Java, logstash, Kafka. Choice of language will be dependent on project and as needed basis. The candidate should be smart enough to pick technology fast and able to trouble shoot through systems. The role will also include coordination tasks, to make sure all teams are logging using common framework are following correct standards. Person will have to make sure of QA integration tasks and also monitor once the systems go to production. MUST HAVE SKILLS 45 years of JAVA experienceLogging & Monitoring experienceKnowledge understanding of KafkaProgramming experience with logstashAware of logging libraries like log4j, logback etcExperience with ELK / Splunk is goodExperience with Spark streams a plus DESIRED SKILLS How to work with multiple teamsCI/CD process in particular GIT (Bitbucket), Jenkins, Jira, ConfluenceKnowledge of NoSQL Databases ( Elastic, Redis)Knowledge of Big Data systems like HIVE to save logsKnowledge of secure coding with OWASP coding practices
