Key Responsibilities Responsible for working with Business Analyst/Developers to elaborate business specs into testable requirements.Lead efforts to Develops Test Plans/Cases based on Functional/Technical specifications for requirements compliance.Conducts Integration and System Test activities on application releases to ensure customer acceptance.Ensures testability of Software Requirements and Technical Design Specifications via reviews.Creates QA Project Plans (WBS), Estimates, Schedules, and Test Status Reports.Provide inputs to better maintains and enhances software QA process and procedures.Manage QA environments via periodic production refreshes to maintain test data integrity.Report Status of test activities/projects to determine production readiness/Deployment strategy.Manages/coordinates small to medium QA projects.4+ years experience with industry leading test management tools (e.g., QuickTestPro, Mercury TestDirector, IBM Rational TestManager /Clear Quest) is a plus.Key RequirementsBachelors degree in a computerrelated discipline OR equivalent work experience.7+ years of QA principles and practical experience with structured software testing.Participates with QA projects from inception through implementation phases.Develops comprehensive Test Plans to address Functional Test, System Test, and User Acceptance Test activities.Communicates/Interfaces with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Account Executives, and Developers to understand/create test requirements and identify validation needs.Define and manage QA projects via Test Director processes (Requirements, TestPlan, TestLab, Defects).Extensive knowledge on Test Director or TFS testing tools required.Experience throughout the project life cycle including reviewing project Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills are required to facilitate coordination of other interfaces.
