The Client is seeking an exceptional temporary Data Developer to join as a Senior Associate in the IT application development department. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this person will join a highly collaborative team. They will serve as an expert, seniorlevel independent contributor with advanced expertise in one or more areas of responsibility.Specific responsibilities include Responsible for the development and support of data integration and applications, which provide essential solutions for clients; may include debugging current systems or programming enhancements or modules of new systemsTake ownership for assigned portion of project from start to finish to ensure successful implementationWrite complex code and maintain continuous integrations and processesWork with business representatives to understand outcomes of testing phase; identify solutions to resolve issuesDetailed understanding of generally accepted software development methodologies, tools, and techniquesMinimum of 5 years of experience in ETL, TSQL, and data modeling.Minimum of 7 years of experience with .Net C# developmentVisual Studio, TFS, and MS SQL serverMust have current experience in last 3 years with financial data including equity and derivative transactions, market data, and integrating data from vendorsMust have experience in an agile development environment with frequent build and releaseIn addition, the ideal candidate willBuild time series data built from decades of equity data.Collaborate effectively in a small agile teamFunction independently, receiving directional guidance from work team, manager and/or IT leadership or business leadershipAbility to selfdirect, plan and execute
