Description

JOB REQUIREMENTSParticipate in architecture, implementation, design, administration, maintenance, documentation and support of assigned applications and ensure continuous 24x7 operations. Provide technical support, direction, and guidance to peers, leadership and associates. Communicate and coordinate with the department and the business to minimize impact during maintenance and upgrade windows. Ensure thorough planning, testing and approval from the business before any transition or implementation. Research, evaluate, monitor and recommend emerging technology and leads investigation and adaptation of beneficial data technologies.Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques for the operational procedure, support and recovery of custom developed solutions. Maintain updated documentation as required.Partner with vendors and customers to ensure requirements are gathered and documentedWork with functional users and business analysts to develop business solutionsResearch and evaluate new technologies and upgrades of current systems Prepare functional and technical requirements specificationsDevelop scripts, programs and applications per specificationsTest and debug software components Revise programs to eliminate errors and/or improve functionalityCoordinate or perform troubleshooting efforts and customer communications.Instruct and provide technical assistance to endusersMaintain a positive and productive work environment among the teamPerform other job related duties as assigned by management. Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Knowledge of ETL tools, ERP applications, assorted languages, data standards and protocols such as Swift, ASP.NET, XML, Java, Oracle EBS, COLTS, JIRA
