Job PurposeThe role is responsible for the overall deployment process for production and nonproduction environments as well as tools that support our development of both the Connected IP Payments and Client IP Manager products. The products are predominantly developed and hosted on C#.NET/Windows/SQL Server platforms. We require a senior level degree of competence and experience with these technologies focusing on development, deployment and infrastructure support. The role will require the development and maintenance of a deployment automation process using TFS / Visual Studio for the core Infrastructure components used in our applications. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and setup business required servicesSetup continuous integration and automated deployment in MS environmentSetup overall deployment process for both production and nonproduction environmentsSupport company's products for development and deployment processesParticipate in services and software systems designMonitor and fix issues identified or reportedPlan, coordinate and implement changes to maintained software configurations and installationsInstall, maintain and monitor companydeveloped software and act as first line supportMonitor submitted tickets; assign, escalate and communicate, as requiredInteract with development departments for task scheduling, clarification and executionParticipation in deploy processes (development and testing)Document systems architectures and commissioned servers/services PERSON SPECIFICATIONQualificationsBSc or MSc (in computer engineering or technical) from educational institutionComplementary certificates Experience & KnowledgeGood understanding of software application lifecycle, patching, releases and basic systems administration activities associated with application supportGood understanding of enterprise standards and enterprise building principlesGood knowledge of network technologies and protocols, e.g. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, UDP, SNMPAdvanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, IIS, website configurationAdvanced theoretical and practical skills in Webenvironments based on MS.NET & SQL ServerBasic knowledge of applicationlevel network protocolsBasic computer hardware knowledge (x64 architecture), e.g. servers, storages, RAID technologyGood understanding of the mechanisms of Webenvironment architectures approachesExperience in C#.NET, MVC, Silverlight, WCF SOAP Services, OData ServicesExperience debugging web and SQL issues with tools like Fiddler and SQL Profiler SkillsGood written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation skills.
