REQUIRED SKILLSPrior experience on API Management Tool (akana), Deep understanding of akana API Management Platforms, RESTful architecture principles and their applicability.Experience in strong Programming skills, a strong grasp of algorithmic complexity.Experience with concurrency and/or distributed systems, and the ability to dissect problems in an unfamiliar and evolving domain.Experience configuring AWS VPC, EC2, S3 IAM, RDS, ECS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation, Route 53, Service catalogs, Data Pipeline, Redshift 1 Yr MinimumAWS Certified Developer RequiredExperience required in Automation of Containers on AWS using Shell and Python Scripts 1 Yr MinimumExperience with PING Federated Identity Solution using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC Tokens, SAML and SSO 1 Yr MinimumPractice TDD, Agile, continuous integration, and be comfortable with continuous deployment.Prior experience developing RESTful services, handson development experience with APIs 5+ yrs5+ years of architecture and development experience of API integration between multiple components of a distributed systemExperience in JavaExperience with all stages of the API lifecycleExperience with Load Testing, performance Configuration and Performance Monitoring using Gatling 1 Yr MinimumPreferred Skills AWS Certified Solutions developerGoogle Cloud Platform experienceWorked on migration projects from onprem to the cloudPrior experience with Scala, Actors, Akka and Play FrameworkRESPONSIBILITIESAs part of the Engineering team member, you will be expected to contribute on akana domain expertise which include understanding of the product, being able to configure it both onprem and in AWS. Be able to build and support automation of the API management platform. Enable product teams at Monsanto to rapidly develop and deploy microservicebased application topologies in the cloud. You will contribute to tools, services, and advanced libraries to automate project creation, testing, QA, deployment, monitoring, selfhealing, autoscaling, and governance of these microservices.
