Western Unions Lead Technical Trainer is responsible for leading other trainers in the design and delivery of process and software training to technical and nontechnical customers. This includes but is not limited to Full participation in project teams for data gathering and communicating to ensure full coverage. Reporting updates, needs and status to project team and management as required Lead trainers reporting to the team to ensure consistency and clear and clean training documents. This is a working lead position; therefore this lead will also be responsible for the following Ability to professionally create and write clear behavioral objectives, user guides on business topics, policies, process flows, system processes and practices Classroom training (live and online), creation of user guides, job aids, knowledge exams and computer based training courses Marketing training Analyze feedback and responding accordingly Responsible for performing miscellaneous duties related to training and development Knowledge in Oracle Financials, Siebel and various systems would be beneficial Ability to train users on technical systems is required Job requirements In order to fulfill the duties of this job role, the following skills are required Ability to search and research information Creative problem solving skills Analytical Customer Service mentality High work standards/customer service Computer competence and the ability to use media effectively Requires excellent one on one, classroom (virtual and physical) and project team communication skills Time management skills, prioritization, etc. Creativity Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building a must 35 years training or equivalent experience required Facilitation and Presentation Skills Managing multiple programs/projects, creating policies and procedures and managing customer relationships Ability to work with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to learn new training software programs with limited support Experience in implementing concepts of adult learning principles, instructional design, needs assessment, performance measurement and evaluation Some of the software they will be learning is Oracle Financials and Siebel so any previous experience with those is extremely helpful.
