The City and County of Denver is looking for an ETL consultant with experience using Oracle Data Integrator toolset. This is a 3 month + assignment in downtown Denver, CO. The person will be helping to build a data warehouse and extract data for a large mission critical property tax project. The preference is local candidates. They may consider nonlocal candidates, but if they find someone local, that will always be preferred all else being equal. There is some competition (maybe 2 other firms). The City would like to get resumes by next week and schedule in person interviews the following week (in a perfect world). The target start date would be asap. General Description of the Engagement The Technology Services Division of the City and County of Denver is recruiting a contract ETL contractor. This position will support a data conversion project. This person will work with an existing conversion team to supplement staff in the migration of data from a legacy system to a new system. The right person will be able to take mapping specifications and perform the mappings, transformations, data cleansing processes, and validations needed to migrate to the new system using various methods/tools to include the following Oracle Data Integrator Oracle Data Profiler Oracle Data Quality Microsoft SSIS Engagement Start Date & Duration, Weekly Hours, Work Location The start date is estimated to be as soon as possible. This date is dependent on the completion of a background check and contract task order approval process. The engagement will be 40 hours per week reporting to the Technology Services Database Administration team. The primary work location is the Wellington Webb Municipal Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, Colorado. The duration of the engagement is expected to be approximately 15 weeks to Long term. The exact engagement length may be adjusted based on the billing rate of the selected candidate. The start date, billing rate, and engagement details will be formally specified in a task order issued under the terms of the vendors OnCall contract with the City and County of Denver.
