Description The Application lead undertakes management of one or more Outsourcing projects and/or Application support at our client locations. They will lead the team of technicians to ensure delivery is to budget, to specification, on time and to customer satisfaction. The Application lead proactively acts to understand internal and external client issues and recommends best practices in own discipline. This individual is aware of profitability needs and may manage cost for specific project/work areas. The Application lead will be responsible for finding the underlying issues and patterns in complex situations, take a new perspective on existing solutions. The Application lead will be responsible for meeting or exceeding established SLAs and is required to be oncall after hours to support for high priority incidents. Primary Strong Knowledge of Siemens TeamCenter Strong TeamCenter administration skills Strong Knowledge of Data bases (e.g ORACLE, DB2, SQL Server) Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Linux/Unix/Windows) Strong analytical and leadership skills Sound judgment and tact. Ability to work effectively with clients, management, and its staff members. Manufacturing experience preferred. Individual will be responsible for advising support resources, providing support and leadership on large Application Maintenance Platforms, requiring 24/7 support on high priority incidentsA proven ability to develop positive working relationships in a distributed team, experience collaborating with offshore team members is valued.Accountable for meeting stringent service level agreementsAbility to work and communicate directly with customers to ensure that expectations are being metMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be a selfstarter who requires minimal supervisionBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
