Identifies ways to avoid problems proactively rather than just fixing them after the fact Ability to collaborate, share the workload and provide direction to other team resources Experience in working with global teams Strong interpersonal skills Positive, team centric attitude Organized Committed to continual improvementJob Abstract As a member of the End User Platform team, this individual will be responsible for engineering desktop technology solutions from concept to completion. This role requires significant, demonstrated engineering and delivery capabilities working with crossfunctional teams within matrixed organizations.This unique role offers the individual the opportunity to exercise interests in engineering, analysis, and delivery management in desktop related engineering efforts that are mission critical to the firm. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to assimilate disparate technical concepts quickly, manage multiple competing priorities and communicate effectively within the team as well as with related technology teams.Responsibilities Own the engineering of images for Windows physical (desktop, laptop, tablet) computers Engineer and manage Group Policy changes at the Enterprise level, as well as review business group level changes Provide primary engineering for hardware POCs within the End User Platform team Provide primary engineering and support for BitLocker Provide primary level 3 support for physical images, hardware and group policy Provide backup engineering capability for SCCM, SCOM, Beyond Trust Collaborate with engineers on solutions for all End User Platform engineering efforts Ensure adherence to established IT standards and processes while proactively highlighting opportunities for improvement Advocate for the end user at all times and proactively manage risk, impact and user experience at all times
