Description
All job functions of Quality Assurance/Product Support Analyst Level 1 and 2, plus the following Develop test scripts and testing methods for all deployed applications.Perform testing for applications developed inhouse prior to release of programs for user testing.Ensure adequate testing by users of applications released both internally and by outside vendors.Ensure the integrity of data that is shared and/or passed to internal financial systems or decision support database as well as external reporting entities.Review and evaluate the impact of upgrades, as well as train and support the users to prepare for upgrades or other changes in utilization.Field support questions or problems and provide resolution or refer to vendor and log all issues and requests for tracking.Solicit feedback from users on changes or enhancements needed.Develop written specifications for new products and enhancements to existing products. These specifications must be developed in clear and concise language that is easily understood by the customer requesting the enhancement and must also provide clear definition of the proposed solution.Monitor software release plans for third party vendors and keep user community up to date on new releases. Coordinate with customers the upgrades, testing, and production rollout of third party upgrades.Actively participate in review and refinement of quality assurance and product support processes and procedures in Information Services.Develop documentation standards for both systems analysis and testing. Provide leadership for other Quality assurance/product support analysts in introducing and maintaining best practices in Information Systems.Organize, lead and coordinate review and refinement of quality assurance and product support processes and procedures in Information Services.Review existing quality assurance processes and procedures to improve and to guide conformance to those processes and procedures.Lead the periodic review of quality assurance and product support for selected projects throughout the year. Review must be organized, coordinated, and findings published for review. Purpose is to instantiate best practice methodology into Information Services.Performs other duties as assigned.
