Acts independently to identify and select appropriate methodologies. Work customarily and regularly (50% of time or more) requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. Normally receives general instructions on nonroutine work assignments. Requires additional instructions and frequent guidance on new assignments. Decisions are made independently. Assigned multiple tasks or projects are generally reviewed after completion. Contact is typically coordinative in nature and involves exchanging detailed technical information. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. 710 years of experience JOB DUTIES Work closely with the automation team managing the DevOps Platform.Providing front end and back end supportWorking collaboratively with the team to enhance the platform and build out the footprint on the public cloud.Assisting with design decisions and building architecture diagramsManaging the ticket queue by providing effective assistance to the end userCreate and maintain platform usage guides to aid usersWillingness to learn new technologiesLook for opportunities for process improvements and automationProviding 24x7 support for production services Must have skills Have 2 to 3 years relevant experience with tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQubeDemonstrated experience using the Linux platformExperience with cloud technologies (AWS), issue tracking (Jira), software development practices, and the use of code repositories Nice to have skills Demonstrated experience building applications using Java or PythonExperience with SQLAt least 1year experience using Datadog or Splunk1 to 2 years of shell scripting experience Education/Certifications Bachelor's Degree in IT fieldCertified Jenkins EngineerAWS Certification
