Job DescriptionUnder minimal supervision, identifies system requirements through research and factfinding to develop or modify complex information systems. Designs, develops, implements and supports all aspects of an advanced, distributed computer system, including new features and related products. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debug, and document those programs.Job DescriptionAccountabilities Translates business requirements into technical design and/or solutions using defined systems development life cycle (SDLC) framework Designs, develops and tests software components of an application using appropriate software tools and languages, and adheres to design reviews, code reviews, deployment documents and appropriate industry standard development methodologies Drives the resolution of complex technical problems Provides leadership and technical expertise to facilitate the implementation of new complex applications and complex enhancements of existing applications Actively leads and mentors other developers Establishes and maintains documentation for coding standards and technologies used across IT Perform peer reviews to ensure adherence to standards Communicates business information, technical information and developments to users and technical staff in both verbal and written form; provides or coordinates feedback to management and/or users on all open issues Uses data and other information to influence customers to the appropriate decision
