Description

As a Software Engineer you will help support our antenna products with development in;Sustaining and enhancing existing feature sets.Embedded health monitoring applications for existing and new antenna programs.Tools and systems that allow Panasonic Avionics Customer Systems Focals to help diagnose antenna field issues.Your day to day activities and responsibilities will include Reviews, evaluates, and analyzes designed software for extensions and enhancements.Designs, modifies and implements software applications from functional and system design specifications.Codes, integrates, tests, debugs, and refines the embedded software applications surrounding the antenna subsystem from manufacturing/production to delivered antennas.Prepares, reviews, and evaluates interface documentation, specifications, test plans and procedures.Assists in definition, analysis and fulfillment of requirements.Supports system test programs and analyzes system testing results.Documents designs in engineering documents including functional block diagrams and data/logic flow charts.Maintains the developed software efficiently through familiarity with agile software lifecycles.Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.Advanced degree is preferred.Advanced C, embedded system architecture, PIC experience required.C/C++ on an embedded ARM processor preferred.10+ years of related experience.8+ years of current hands on software development experience.Shell Scripting, Unix/Linux, TCP/IP network programming, Algorithm Development, Data Manipulation.Very high technical competence with a proven track record of strong coding.Prior experience with manufacturing test application development including embedded controllers preferred.
