Design Developer Specialist

Essential ResponsibilityViewed as an expert resource, provides mentoring, technical and design guidance to others. May coordinate the day to day work of the team.Uses expertise in development languages, UI design and systems to work on the most complex and impactful projects involving software, database and system architecture design.Has responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of multiple strategic projects, actively managing budget and schedule, project communications and documentation.Develops highly complex new applications and interfaces using advanced programming tools and languages.Develops project scopes, fees and proposals for review by management.Leads meetings with business and technology staff to define and document system requirements.Stays abreast of changes in technology practices and recommends changes to technology, methodology and process standards, interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices/solutions.Develops measures from data that can be used for continuous improvement of processes.Performs other duties as assigned.Additional Responsibilities Develops Concepts of Operations for new software and major software enhancements. Works with Client/Owner to ensure major software enhancements (performed by others) meet Client/Owner requirements. Supports Clients software change management board and change management processes. Assists Client/Owner with prioritization of and scheduling software enhancement.
