Description
Essential ResponsibilityCreates and updates the release calendar and schedule. Manages release level issues and risks across multiple test environments. Plans and supports deployments across multiple environments.Coordinates software releases with internal engineering and test teams to ensure all teams have a common understanding of release contents. Works across teams to resolve all release related issues.Creates and monitors release communication. Escalates change issues and approvals with technical subject matter experts. Leads AARs and holds technical staff accountable to complete action items.Plans, organizes, executes, tests and supports web application/site releases. Interfaces with developers to ensure that any release related issues are resolved.Drives compliance with policies, processes, procedures and standards. Creates and monitors change and release metrics. Leads Change Advisory Board (CAB) and manages communication around all IT change.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related degree5 years software release management experienceIn lieu of education, 9 years software release management experiencePreferred Qualification/Skills Experience with software release, change, and configuration management through the SDLC. Strong communication and customer relation skills. Must be able to interact, influence and communicate with people at all levels in the organization. Highly selfmotivated individual comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment while ensuring accurate and timely results. Proven ability to balance multiple projects at varying stages. Preferable Knowledge of TFS project administration and automated build processes. Strong Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate data to make decisions utilizing A logical and methodical approach. Ability to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
