Description

Key Duties The Dynamics AX Application Developer will be responsible for production support, project, and regular maintenance activities. Production support activities encompass issues that arise within the current production environment that have been classified as a Severity 1 issue. These issues receive the highest priority and are assigned resources immediately. Project work activities encompass projects that have been initiated that involved new application releases, enhancements to current application solutions, and the defect removal of existing applications. Maintenance activities include regularly scheduled work that is the lowest priority to resource assignments. These are issues that have been documented by the business but do not have an adverse impact on the production environment. These issues generally have a known work around. Additional Duties Participate in the implementation of designs devised by other team members.Write programs to fulfil functional gaps in the application.Prepare and perform unit and integration testing.Assist with acceptance testing.Create and maintain functional requirements documentations(if required)Create and maintain technical specification documentation.Conduct testing and apply quality control procedures.Write customized reports for all modules as required using X++ and/or SQL reporting servicesMaintain AX to support and enhance the business as needs developFollow development best practices and write XML documentation.
