Therefore, this person has to act as the BA, meeting the product owners understanding the requirements then developing a detailed test plan and scenario to test every single requirementMust have heavy XML and SQL experience writing test cases and queries D2D These QAs will be creating test cases and scenarios and doing software testing for their Oracle to Aurora conversion on their Velogica platform. Velogica is an automated underwriting platform and algorithm that utilizes electronic data (prescription drug histories, motor vehicle records and responses from the Medical Information Bureau) in conjunction with application data (questionnaire responses and demographic information) to underwrite life insurance applications in real time. The underwriting is provided as a webservice to client companies, who access it using their own frontend applications. During the upgrade this tester will be executing all tests to make sure the upgrade to the new database did not break their current system. This person will be using each of the tests SCOR currently has in place and testing them against the new system . This person will be sending test to the web services and writing test cases with XML, writing queries and if a test fails this tester will need to be ab able to bring test to the developer and show this is exactly where it failed ex) I typed in x got y here and then when I ran it again I did not get y. Once they have certified the test correctly tests the new system on the Aurora database they automate that test and move on to the next.
