Position Description Has experience in a variety of the more difficult Web tools and languages. Develops, maintains, and supports applications for the organization's Internet/Intranet sites. Gathers and analyzes requirements. Programs all or selected components of Web applications. Documents components and applications. Develops automation techniques to enable enduser content publishing; programs, tests and implements mapped graphic images, forms and HTML pages; handles client browser support inquiries; maintains links to external sites and accuracy on internal links while ensuring uptodate information. Researches, evaluates and recommends new Internet tools and applications for use in assigned responsibilities. Skills Required Advanced professional level role. Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. Works on medium to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area.Works on one or more projects as a project team member or occasionally as a project leader. May coach more junior technical staff. Skills Preferred Implement new and continued Intranet/Internet based software and database development through the design, build and maintenance of efficient, reusable and reliable code working with leading technologies including ASP.NET MVC, WCF, SQL Server, etc. using C# programming language and libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap.Knowledge of IIS setup and management. Ability to translate requirements into technical designs and functional code.Experience with branching and merging in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).Knowledge of the deployment process and the ability to create automated builds.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to multitask and still pay attention to detail.Ability to meet deadlines in fastpaced environment.Ability to work cohesively within a team. Experience Required Typically has 5 to 7 years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment. Experience Preferred Minimum 6 years experience building .NET applications using C#, object oriented programming.Minimum 6 years SQL database development experience (Including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)Minimum 5 years with data services technologies such as Entity Framework, WCF, XML, JSON, etc.Minimum 5 years building web applications using ASP.NET web forms, MVC, Web API, RESTful APIs, Web Services, HTML/CSS, IIS, TFS, JavaScript frameworks, etc. Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.
