ServiceNow Developer

Description

Position Summary Responsible for application development, configuration and general support of production and development ServiceNow (SN) instances. Work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our Members that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. Essential Job Functions Responsible for the design and delivery of technical solutions based on the ServiceNow platform. Develop workflow and integrations between ServiceNow components as well as external systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting of issues related to code and ServiceNow platform. Design, develop, and implement solutions and/or projects related to ServiceNow User Interfaces (UI). Mentor ServiceNow developers on best practice and approach. Follow Agile development methodology to ensure consistent, ongoing enhancements to support the business. Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements to standard processes and procedures such as automation through scripting, programming, etc. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release activities. Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments. Analyze and fully understand business requirements and current procedures to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations. Work with the Customer Support and Service Delivery teams to troubleshoot escalated customer issues for the supporting application. Stay current with capabilities of ServiceNow platform. Be proactive about knowledge sharing. All teammembers must comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field or equivalent years of experience. Experience 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in a software related field.ServiceNow System Administrator Certification requiredITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferredImplementation Specialist Certification /Application Developer preferred Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Asset, Configuration, Incident, Change, Service Request, Service catalog, etc. Experience developing custom application within ServiceNow platform from the ground Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules Expert in JavaScript, Angular.js, CSS Bootstrap, Jelly, AJAX and knowledge of Web Services technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, XML).
