Responsibilities10+ years experience in Routing/Switching, including experience in the design and implementation of various network modules as described in the Cisco SAFE Architecture. The ideal candidate will be able to address business and application requirements, design the infrastructure to support these requirements, and perform the necessary configurations to realize the business goals.Extensive experience with dynamic routing protocols (including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP), the ability to work with redistribution between these routing protocols and static routes, and an expertlevel understanding of route filtering through the use of prefix lists, route maps and ACLs.This candidate will need to have a full understanding of Data Center networks, including the ability to design, implement and support changes to the infrastructure while maintaining consistency and change control. The Data Center platforms consist of Cisco ASA5500s, Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K, Catalyst Series Switches, Cisco ASR 1000 series routers, Cisco ISR G2 Series Routers, and Citrix Netscalers.Full understanding and the ability to perform the following tasks within the network add/remove/change Vlans, SVIs, vPCs, firewall ACEs, LACP portchannels, dynamic routing neighbor relationships, route filtering, HSRP, access/trunk port configuration, interfaces and address families in VRFs, cabling (both copper and fiber), loadbalancing virtual servers, global load balancing virtual serversThe ability to research and develop new networking technologies to better meet the organizations business needsAn understanding and penchant for network security while avoiding a totally flat and unprotected networkConfiguration experience on Cisco6800 Platform and Cisco 4500 series switches while supporting campus networks which will utilize portsecurity, AutoQoS, DHCPhelper, and standard switchport configurationsExperience working with wireless LAN controllers and LWAPs and troubleshooting connectivity issues over Campus WIFIExperience working with Cisco ASAs with uses in Remote Access VPN (both legacy VPN and AnyConnect clients), LANtoLAN IPSec VPNs, NAT (static, dynamic and PAT), inspection policies and access control for ports/protocolsCCIE Route & Switch lab preferred. QualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong listening skills.Ability to communicate with vendors and support partnersAbility to effectively communicate business and technical information to audiences with varying backgroundsAbility to interact with management in a professional mannerCollaborate with personnel from many departments to resolve issuesWork crossfunctionally and think creatively, critically and strategicallyAbility to effectively plan, facilitate, and participate in meetings with employees from all organizational levelsEffectively use teamwork to contribute to a highmorale/highperformance team culture, leading by exampleStrong skills in prioritization and reprioritization to react to a dynamic environmentResults driven; Ability to work independently; Selfstarter
