WHAT YOULL BE DOINGInteract closely with imaging specialists, data scientists, and discovery researchersDesign and deploy sophisticated analysis pipelines with rich, modern web interfacesDeveloping solutions deployed both onpremise and in Amazon Web ServicesDeploying your applications using automation and CI/CD that you configureSome amount of data engineering to manage relatively large datasetsCollaborating frequently through short daily scrums, adhoc pair programming, and learning opportunities with researchers is something you must be comfortable with.Job QualificationsWHAT WERE LOOKING FORBachelors degree in computer science or related field and a few years of professional software development experienceSkills as a fullstack software developer with proficiency in microservice development and modern frontend web developmentExperience working with large datasets (even better if youve already worked with image data)Experience with python frameworks like Flask or Django and libraries such as OpenCV.Proficient in SQL (even better if youve also worked with Cassandra or MongoDB)Experience hacking around in Linux and Unix systems. You should be comfortable on the commandline and have a quick answer to the vi/Emacs question.Proficient with web development including a Javascript framework such as Angular or React.jsExperience with AWS or other cloud platformExcellent verbal and written communication skills frequent collaboration will be important in this role
