Job Description Cloud Infrastructure Architect with deep experience with AWS and Azure based application hosting.Experience with PaaS services used in the financial industry.Experience modernizing and replatforming legacy systems.10+ years of overall experience.Requirements Cloud Infrastructure Architect with deep hands on skills and experience with AWS and Azure based application hosting. Experience modernizing and replatforming legacy systems.Accelerate build out of VPCs and VNETs in AWS/Azure.Validate core AWS/Azure infrastructure readiness and drive configuration, performance, and ops remediation activities (e.g. ELB, RDS, SQL, AD, jump servers, file transfer, backup and restore)Implement and test Tier 1 & 2 DR patternsExecute architecture / engineering realignments for previously migrated apps (e.g. DEV VPC, domain updates, ELB retrofit)Support DMZ gateway creation and Direct Connect deployments / conversions (as part of Equinix rollout)Validate network readiness postEquinix deployment and drive configuration, performance and ops remediation activitiesBuild / configure Azure South Central / Virginia VPNCreate / enhance operational support processes / checklists for new/ existing services to ensure applicability and readiness Required Skills Cloud, IAAS, PAAS, Application refactoring, Application rearchitecture.
