Description

Position Overview The client recently implemented SAP BPC for business planning needs and processes. The group includes a) International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), b) International Finance Corporation (IFC) c) MultiLateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) and d) International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). All of the institutions in the group work towards the clients goals in their unique ways and have their own lines of business. The client is looking for a midlevel developer who can automate new business needs and support existing functionality. Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree; Masters is a plusEssential Job Functions 1. Document business requirements, and analyze requirements with users2. Translate business requirements in to solution requirements and specifications3. Discuss solution options with users4. Determine the integration needed with other client systems to solve the business needs5. Design and develop the necessary models, cubes, inputforms, business process flows, VB macros, reports, BADIs and data interfaces from BW6. Develop mechanisms to transform and load data from BW in to BPC7. Enhance existing system functionality and resolve production issues8. Develop/update test cases for the solution9. Develop/update user guides for the functionality developed10. Document solution design and how the solution is to be used11. Maintain user roles and authorizations in the system; and perform other administrative activitiesEducational Qualifications and Experience 1. Education Bachelors degree is a must;2. Further education in Financial planning or Accounting is a plus3. Role Specific Experience Minimum 3+ years of handson experience in automating business planning processes that includes two of any of the following planning processes a) Budget formulation b) Revenue/Expense c) Staff cost planning d) Activity planning and e) Capital investment planning4. BPC development experience must include SAP BPC NetWeaver version 10.x and BW 7.4 on HANACertification Requirements SAP certifications is a plusRequired Skills/Abilities 1. Candidate should have development experience in minimum two of any of the following planning processes a) Budget formulation b) Revenue/Expense c) Staff cost planning d) Activity planning and e) Capital investment planning2. Must be skilled in gathering and translating business requirements in to solution specifications3. Handson experience in designing Dimensions, Models, inputforms, reports, business process flows, workflows for business needs conforming to the product standards4. Ability to maintain and configure environment5. Ability to create custom data manager packages6. Ability to configure currency conversion business rules7. Ability to prepare good test cases8. Ability to write macros in BPC reports and input forms9. Ability to create user manuals and impart training to business and admin users10. Ability to perform and configure SPRO Parameters for Environment and Application Level11. Ability to design and configure transformation and conversion files12. Ability to develop, test and debug BADIs13. Ability to design and configure roles and authorizations14. Ability to enable selfservice capabilities in BPC and train users on the same15. Perform system administrative functions in BPC and train users on activities appropriate to them16. Proper knowledge of the SAP FI, FM and CO objects, structures, data sources and flowsDesired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus) 1. Head count management in PeopleSoft2. Development of BW reports3. Managing requirements and test cases in HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM)4. Retraction to ECC5. Extraction from ECC Proficient in the planning processes to guide users on using BPC effectively to meet their needs conforming to the product standards Proficient in budgeting, forecasting and financial consolidation Ability to educate users on the various options in the product and their pros and cons Design the integration of BPC with other SAP and nonSAP systems Should be able to conduct workshops for both planning and financial consolidation Understanding of the overall information management architecture with components like BW and MDM Ability to understand perform BW work in terms of modelling Ability to debug and understand ABAP code Ability to analyze As Is and To Be business processes, complete complex business design for gap / interfaces and configure system based on user requirements
