DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. In your role of Senior DevOps Engineer, you shall have the following roles and responsibilities Develop automation scripts to automate the creation and maintenance of environmentsCreate and implement monitoring tools and solutions to provide visibility into the infrastructure and application performanceDiagnose complex system problems using dumps, traces or other diagnostics aids.Diagnose system performance problems using available standard performance tools and system indicators such as queue lengths, CPU utilization and DatadogAutomate the installation of applications, programs and system components to minimize customer downtimeRecommend and change system parameters or configuration variables to improve overall system performance and stabilityLook for opportunities for continual improvements in infrastructure and processesAbility to use a wide variety of open source technologies and toolsComfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deploymentEnsure a scalable process and infrastructure with a focus on high availabilityAdapts to changing and evolving business priorities by offering options and constructive ideas on how to achieve the goals given the realities of time and resourcesEnhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsWillingness to pitchin and help others on the team as neededKeep abreast of technology trends and best practice with the ability to share those findings with the teamAdhere to the standards of the team while also looking for opportunities to improve on team processes Required SkillsFour or more years of relevant work experience.Experience with software release management pipeline using Jenkins, One stash, Jira.Experience integrating CICD pipeline with automated test scripts.Experience with Docker or Kubernetes or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.Experience with automation/configuration management in Linux environments.Experience with scripting tools and technologiesExperience with Database technologies (Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB) including SQL.Experience managing Cloud environments ( AWS / Oracle Cloud Preferred)Experience With Application Performance Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace is a highly desired)
