Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Design and Development of professional quality desktop application code in an Agile environment2. Aware of Agile/Scrum principles and desire to abide by them3. Proactive to solve issues and meet commitments4. Development of unit tests for validation code5. Interacting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will guide the software development6. Working closely with other Developers to achieve objectives7. Ability to lead other developers to achieve objectives 1. Minimum Requirements a. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, and 5 years of related experience or through 8 years of software development experience.b. Strong skills in C#, WPF (minimum of 4+ years of desktop (no web) application development experience in C# .NET, WPF)c. Working knowledge of calling 32bit DLLs using PInvoked. Experience with debugging code which contains calls to 32bit DLLs, from Visual Studioe. Committed to writing well documented code with good unit test coverage f. Experience with development of multithreaded applications2. Preferred a. Knowledge of FORTRAN and C++b. Experience in Oil & Gas industryc. Geophysics domain experienced. Experience with Delphi / Object Pascale. Ability to use external tools like from SysInternals while debugging and fixing problems
