Job DescriptionAt Vertical, we build innovative communications software products for business of all sizes across many vertical industries including retail, automotive, healthcare and more. We are seeking an innovative, highenergy software engineer to join our Application Engineering Team to help design and build cloudbased applications for various industry vertical markets. Primary Job Responsibilities Develop and support components of Verticals cloud infrastructure.− Design, develop and support backend services, APIs, and end user web apps based on Verticals microservices based cloud application delivery platform called Vertical Cloud Connect (VCC).− Work as part of a team to enhance feature set of Verticals multimedia (voice, video, IM) browser based UC application called ViewPoint Web.− Own and enhance all aspects (backend, APIs and front end) of Verticals CRM integration product called CRMLink. Develop and support components of certain key infrastructure and desktop clients written in C# and .Net.Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field. Motivated, highenergy, selfstarter Solid software developer− 3+ years experience delivering production applications and services− Strong problem solving and design skills− Good communication and interpersonal skills− Demonstrable experience with design and technical documentation− Proficient using version control Git preferred Proficient/expert in Linux service development − Javascript (Expert)− Node.js (Knowledgeable) Proficient in Windows application/service development − C#− .NET− ASP.NET− Internet Information Services (IIS) (Knowledgeable)Pluses Telephony experience general, WebRTC, audio, video VMWare experience Cloud operation and development experience− Amazon Web Services− Google Cloud Platform− Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform operation and development experience Docker experience Mobile development iOS and/or Android
