Description
1). 35 years of Enterprise Security Architecture experience, with extensive experience in securing web front ends, must have experience with OAuth for the web applications and should understand the vulnerabilities with locking a database, web service, ESB etc since all of these factors will come into play with this application 2). This Architect must have excellent soft skills as they will need to be able to flex their style based on the audience, especially with business stakeholders and business executives. They will be responsible for driving, promoting and defending security architecture decisions with the business and technical teams. 3). 2+ years securing a cloud environment on Azure and AWS. 4). This person must be very strong with API's and webservices, specifically Restful. For example, Hiscox is using Mule and Camel and since that is what Hiscox will most commonly use to sell their products and this person must come from a java background and will coding 30% of their day. Additional Information Essential Experience Experience with insurance product rationalization techniques, specifically within the US market Proven expertise in the development of end to end integration ensuring the various integrations are considered and architected consistently with the enterprise architecture vision. High level estimation experience around Core transformation programs Working knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, canonical data modelling and design considerations around Web APIs, Service APIs, Canonical data modelling Knowledge of REST and SOAP based service design Knowledge of secure integration architecture considerations around authentication and authorization protocols (e.g. SAML, JWT, OAUTH), and securing APIs against threats (e.g. OWASP Top 10) Knowledge of portal architecture strategies and implementation (e.g. Horizontal vs Vertical portals) and tools (e.g. Backbase) High level estimation experience around Core transformation programs Experience working across different architecture tracks involved in a transformation effort e.g. Financials, Document production and management, Supply Chain, Policy, Claims and Billing Experience of working in outsourced/vendor based developments Experience of working with global development teams Good understanding of concepts of DevOps, automation of build (CI), test and deploy tools and processes Good understanding of infrastructure technologies and principals and how these must be applied in enterprise applications. Good understanding of Software Configuration Management strategies and tools Excellent understanding of Object Orientated Analysis and Design and Component analysis Familiarity with working with multiple software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc.) A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through Excellent prioritization and time management skills The ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately and communicate these with both technical teams and business stakeholders
