Description

Responsibilities Essential DutiesApplication of system techniques and procedures, including consulting with business groups to determine EDI hardware, software, and system functional specifications.Assist in design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of EDI systems; including prototypes based on and related to business user or system design specifications.Monitor EDI production subsystem and VAN/AS2 communications for operational integrity.Assist in implementing and maintaining EDI systems based on the business needs of the company.Organize and prioritize requests pertaining to EDI services and systems.Analyze customer requirements, configure and maintain crossreference accounts in SAP ERP system, and verify EDI conversion accounts.Provide support on all company standard EDI system hardware, software and services.Provide Level II technical support for endusers on EDI service status and statisticsAnalyze technical problems and define a strategy for resolving the issue.Take an active role in assigned projects.Create and/or maintain system validation documentation.Create and/or maintain EDI systems/services processes and procedures.Research and evaluate new EDI and ecommerce technologies.Expertise Knowledge & Skills Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Professional, Project, Visio and Outlook. Must have Knowledge of EDI mapping systems and understanding of EDI and IDoc data formats.Must have a good understanding of business processes and procedures, and have the ability to communicate in business terms/nontechnical manner.Must have good communication skills and be able to interface with users. Must practice good time management and project leadership skills.
